Want to Support MAD4YU? Become a Volunteer Tutor!

Want to support the mission of MAD4YU? Become a volunteer tutor!

Would you enjoy motivating and mentoring a student? Do you love working with kids? Would you like to give back to your community? Do you have a few hours on your weekends to spare?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, we’d love to meet you! No training or experience is required, just a desire to help. We meet the students where they are.

We tutor in all subject areas, and students are required to bring their homework/schoolwork and laptops, allowing us to focus on their individual areas of need. Tutoring sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays (11am – 6pm), one hour per subject, per student, and a minimum of nine weeks. We also offer virtual tutoring as an option to high school students.

Both in-person and virtual tutoring sessions are held year-round, including through the summer months.

Youth Tutors (under 18) are welcome to volunteer and earn community service hours with parental consent.

Learn more about volunteering at www.mad4yuinc.org, or contact us via phone (804-833-3281) or email: (info@mad4yuinc.org) with any questions.

If you’d like to volunteer, you can register through Hands on Greater Richmond at https://www.handsonrva.org.
